Da Juana, I just wanted to tell you that I enjoyed your story about Muffin very much! My husband and I are blessed to have two Miniature Schnauzers right now, Tucker and Sheila.
We lost our beloved Skittles a couple of years ago and I know how hard it is. He was our baby. Even with the love of Tucker and Sheila, you never get over the loss of the other, but
they try very hard to make sure you are loved and happy!
Thank you,
ST Tucker & Sheila
S, I love your page too. Thanks for telling me about my Muffin story. There is hardly a day that she does not enter my mind just as I am sure your Skittles does. People do not
realize the impact a loving furry person can have on their lives. I am glad you are out there to share with others too. We need more people to do that. Maybe the world would become a better place.
Thanks again, Da Juana
Da Juana, I wanted to add that after Skittles died suddenly, heart failure at eleven, I asked a friend on the Mini Schnauzer list for advice. We were just broken up with grief. She knew a
breeder who had a puppy--he was supposed to get his ears docked in three days, and a few people had looked at him. Well, we drove down to L B, three hrs away, and saw him. He was unresponsive until I sat
down on a curb, and then he jumped in my lap. We love their ears un-cropped so we got him just in time. The reason we named him Tucker was because he was so tired from it all, he slept in my arms the
entire ride home. I still mourned Skittles, but having Tucker certainly helped our pain.
Love to you, S & Tucker & Sheila
